MEET

Rafel Jaume i Venys is an entrepreneur, pianist, composer, and choir director passionate about the intersection of philosophy, music, and artificial intelligence. He studied composition at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, where he trained with leading composers and industry experts such as Christopher Young, Harry Gregson-Williams, Norman Ludwin, Miriam Cutler, and Wilhelm von Dungen, among others.

He holds a degree in Digital Business from Universitat Ramon Llull and has also completed a master's in Philosophy at the same university. Currently, he is part of the team at the Artificial Intelligence Observatory at La Salle – Universitat Ramon Llull, focusing on the ethics and applications of technology in society.

Rafel is an expert in exploring how AI can transform business, the arts, music, and education—always from a practical and responsible perspective.

He also directs CAIRAI (https://cairai.org/), a consultancy specializing in AI applied to the education sector.

Through inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, and strategic consulting, he helps artists, leaders, and organizations find their voice in a changing world. His journey blends creativity, deep reflection, and a strong commitment to ethics and innovation.

Choral Conducting

For the past eight years, Rafel has been the director of the La Salle Campus Barcelona Choir. In addition to conducting, he also arranges choral pieces, like the one featured in the video.

One of his core priorities in making music is sharing and enjoying the process. That’s why he always places leadership, pedagogy, and teamwork at the heart of his approach.

AI in education

Rafel directs CAIRAI, https://cairai.org/, a consultancy that supports the education sector in its digital transformation, offering training and strategies for teachers to integrate artificial intelligence in a critical and effective way. We do not seek to replace the role of educators, but rather to enhance it, providing them with tools to optimize their work and guide students in the responsible use of technology. With an approach based on pedagogy, technology and philosophy, we help schools and institutions take advantage of AI to improve teaching and prepare new generations for the digital future.
